GENEVA April 07. 2024 (Saba) - Shefa'a Hospital is now an empty structure excepting for bead bodies, WHO Director-General tweeted on Sunday, condemning the Zionist recent siege that left the medical facility badly damaged.
After two weeks of offensive, the Israeli forces fully withdrew from Shefa'a Hospital and nearby quarters in Gaza last Monday.
The WHO and partners had access to Shefa'a Compound that once served as the backbone of Gaza health system, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus added.
The team saw at least five dead bodies during the mission, he said, as the team members found that most of the Compound's buildings suffered huge destruction and assets were mostly damaged or changed into ash.
