BEIRUT April 04. 2024 (Saba) - Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine Commander Ziad al-Nakhalah has denounced the Arab and Islamic position on supporting Gaza, stressing the importance of uniting the resistance forces in confronting projects to fragment the region.
Al-Nakhalah made his speech on Wednesday during the public celebration under the title “al-Quds Platform,” which is held by the International Committee to Commemorate al-Quds Day in Beirut.
He saluted “the souls of the martyrs in Palestine and everywhere,” and sent his greetings to “al-Quds, its people, and the great struggling people of Palestine, as they fight today one of the most honorable and noble battles that our nation has fought throughout its long history for the sake of al-Quds, which is the Battle of al-Aqsa Flood.”
He stressed that the Battle of al-Aqsa Flood “came in the context of the Palestinian people’s jihad to be a true and sincere expression in the face of the continuous aggression that has not stopped for a single day against the Palestinian people and our sanctities since the founding of the criminal Zionist entity until this day, and where the Palestinians in Gaza stand with their men, women and children in the face of all forces.” The evil in the world is represented by the Zionist entity and its backers and supporters, led by America and all its followers.”
He warned that the people of Gaza suffered “for more than half a year of brutal killing and massacres, and astonished the world with their steadfastness, pride, and the heroism of their brave fighters who are facing in the field the latest weapons and killing tools produced by America, the maker of death, and they insult the faces of the Zionist killers every day and every hour.” The fields of confrontation and fighting, despite the difficult and bitter siege that kills our families and children from hunger, and deprives them of the simple necessities of life.”
Al-Nakhalah said “We discovered in this war that our Arab and Muslim brothers cannot provide a drink of water to the thirsty except with the approval of “Israel,” while this “Israel” is supplied with everything it needs from the same countries that are prohibited from providing some water and some food to Gaza and its children... That is why we said and we say, that we demand that our Arab brothers treat us as they treat Israel, because everything Israel needs comes to it from the same countries that prevent everything from us.”
