TUNIS March 26. 2024 (Saba) - The Tunisian Workers' Party called on the popular masses in Tunisia to take to the streets in mass demonstrations, calling for an immediate and unconditional cessation of the war of extermination.

The Secretary-General of the party, Hamma Hammami, said in a special statement to the Palestinian news agency "Shehab": The war of extermination waged by the usurping Zionist entity for nearly six months against the Palestinian people in Gaza in agreement with / and with the direct support of the US imperialist "Ras al-Hayya" and its allies, is after a failed war militarily, politically and morally, and it is a war that indicates the demise of the Zionist entity itself.

Hammami stressed that the Palestinian resistance, which had the lead on the seventh of last October, in launching the battle of "Al-Aqsa flood" and remained steadfast to this day.

He explained that the resistance has succeeded strategically in adjusting the balance of power with the enemy and returning the Palestinian national cause to the center of regional and international attention.

He added: "The Palestinian people have grabbed their cause and rid it of the grip of the Zionist Arab rulers, who before the "Al-Aqsa flood" were planning its grave permanently through a broad and comprehensive normalization campaign with the usurping entity, after they had been bargaining with it for decades."

He noted that the resistance gave a new impetus to the global anti-imperialist movement.

He also stressed that the solidarity movement created by the resistance has not been seen since the Vietnam War. "The resistance has exposed the ugly criminal face of the crumbling Western imperialist system and exposed the hypocrisy of some (friendly) countries that know nothing but their own interests," he said.

Hammami pointed out that the Arab peoples remained the weakest link in the global support movement, but it was supposed to be the first and strongest link in this movement. He stressed that the support work of the resistance in Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq cannot absolve our peoples and their national elites of their responsibility during this confrontation.
