GAZA March 26. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement on Tuesday hailed the UN Security Council call for ceasefire in Gaza, and expressed willingness to engage in prisoner swap leading to the release of both parties' captives.
Lasting ceasefire should be reached, Hamas said in a statement, in order for all the Zionist troops to withdraw from Gaza Strip, and the displaced to come back home.
The Movement underlined the need for free movement of Palestinian civilians, smooth inflow of all humanitarian assistances across Gaza Strip and entry of heavy machines to remove ruins and burry martyrs.
Hamas also called on the UNSC to pressure Israel into commitment to ceasefire and ending the genocide war against the Palestinian people.
