BERLIN March 24. 2024 (Saba) - A demonstration and protest march were held in the German capital, Berlin, to condemn the continued Zionist-American-British aggression against Yemen and Palestine.

The march, organized by the Yemeni community in Germany, the "Stop the War on Yemen" initiative, and the Human Rights and Peace Organization, roamed a number of streets, and the participants chanted slogans condemning the criminal behavior of the Great Satan and the occupation forces against Gaza and the Yemeni people.

The march started in front of the US embassy in Berlin, passing through the historic Berlin Gate and the Bundestag building, to the German chancellor's office.

Speeches were delivered by activists and journalists, where the founder of the "Stop the War on Yemen" initiative, German journalist Matthias Trischug, expressed disappointment with German governments' handling of Middle East issues, their inhumane bias, and their passing on arms deals to countries that commit genocide, as happened in Yemen and Gaza.

For his part, the head of the Yemeni community in Germany, Mahmoud Al-Saghir, in his speech on the ninth anniversary of the US-Saudi aggression on Yemen, touched on the continuation of the aggression despite the signing of the truce, through the land, air and sea blockade.

He considered the siege a verdict of mass death of the Yemeni people, exacerbating their suffering by destroying the economy and leading to exhaustion and killing of the Yemeni citizen with international tolerance and silence. He pointed out that America was and still is tampering with peoples and spreading injustice through its tools in the region.

Al-Saghir stressed the need to hold accountable all those involved in crimes of aggression, which do not fall within the statute of limitations. He stressed the need for any agreement to include the restoration of the rights of victims, retribution from the perpetrators of all crimes, and bringing representatives of criminal regimes to trial, whether against the Yemeni people or the crimes of mass ethnic cleansing in Gaza.

The head of Insan Organization for Rights and Freedoms Dr. Ayman Al-Mansour, pointed out that the suffering of the people of Gaza and Palestine is similar to the suffering of the Yemeni people that has been going on for more than nine years, killing thousands in light of a wide media blackout and biased international positions.

He stressed the need for urgent action to stop the Zionist operations in Gaza. He pointed out that Israel's threat to storm Rafah increases their involvement in violations and violations of international humanitarian law.

A statement issued by the march called on the German chancellor, the European Union and the international community to assume moral, humanitarian and legal responsibility to stop the six-month-old war on Gaza, stop sending weapons as well as not support the Zionist entity that commits genocide.

The participants in the march, German and Arab activists, chanted slogans condemning the aggression on Yemen and Gaza led by the United States, and that the United Nations is involved in the killing of children in Gaza and Yemen.
