Course on using automated system for local authority projects in Sana’a concluded

SANA'A March 19. 2024 (Saba) - A training course was concluded in Sana'a province on the documentary cycle of projects titled "the project life cycle" and the use of the automated system for local authority projects.

Over the course of six days, which organized by the Finance Office in the province, the course aimed to introduce 65 participants, including engineers and stakeholders in the Public Works and Roads Offices, the Executive Unit for Projects, the Department of Community Initiatives, Education and Financial Affairs at the Governorate, Planning and Development Office, the supervisory role of the Ministry of Finance and its importance in protecting public funds and verifying commitments to legal systems and legislation.

At the conclusion of the course, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Nasr al-Nusairi stressed the importance of introducing contracts and extracts procedures, and how to overcome difficulties during extracting extracts, explaining that the automated system was created to facilitate procedures and ensure their accuracy, facilitate the tasks of those dealing with it and increase their accounting capabilities so as to avoid any shortcomings during the preparation of transactions.

Al-Nusairi stressed that the course outcomes will work to achieve commitment to implementing projects in accordance with approved instructions, controls, plans and budgets, as well as compliance with the tender law, executive automation, standardization of followed practices, and improving the capabilities of review and audit committees.
