GAZA March 17. 2024 (Saba) - The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) revealed on Sunday that more than 13,000 children died in Gaza as a result of the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip.
According to Sama News, the organization's executive director, Catherine Russell, told CBS that many of them are acutely malnourished and do not even have "the energy to cry."
"Thousands more have been injured or we can't even locate them. Maybe they're trapped under the rubble... "We have not seen this rate of child mortality in almost any other conflict in the world."
"I was in the wards for children suffering from severe anaemia and malnutrition, and the whole ward is completely quiet. Because babies and children... They don't even have the energy to cry."
Russell said there were "very significant bureaucratic challenges" to the entry of aid trucks into Gaza.
