MOSCOW March 12. 2024 (Saba) - On Tuesday, the Russian Federal Security Service denied information that Ukrainian armed units had entered the border towns of Belgorod and Kursk provinces.
A Russian security statement said, "Information is currently spreading on social media about the entry of Ukrainian armed units into the border towns of Belgorod and Kursk provinces, and this information is incorrect."
The statement added, "The strikes against armed formations in the Ukrainian border region are continuing."
The governor of the Russian province of Kursk, which borders Ukraine, announced this morning that an attempt by a Ukrainian reconnaissance group to penetrate the province was thwarted.
On the other hand, US Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan confirmed that his country's border guards informed the Russian border guards that the Armenian side can conduct border service work at Zvartnots Airport without their help.
