BAGHDAD March 07. 2024 (Saba) - Secretary-General of the Iraqi Asaib Ahl al-Haq movement Sheikh Qais al-Khazali has stressed that the presence of foreign forces violates and weakens Iraq's national sovereignty.
Sheikh al-Khazali said in a statement reported by Iraqi media on Wednesday that the exit of all foreign forces from Iraq is imminent and the issue of delaying it is just a matter of time.
He added the departure of foreign and American forces is a decision that has major implications at the level of Iraq and the region.
Al-Khazali stressed that sacrifices must be made in order for foreign and American forces to leave Iraq.
He continued as saying the issue of Palestine is not only a measure of the Arab and Islamic conscience, but it is also a measure of the human conscience, and the position in this regard is part of the clear and progressive position of the Iraqi nation.
