GAZA March 06. 2024 (Saba) - The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Dr. Ashraf Al-Qudra, announced on Wednesday evening that the death toll from malnutrition and dehydration had risen to 20 martyrs in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, the announced death toll from malnutrition and dehydration reflects only what reaches hospitals, and we believe that dozens die silently as a result of starvation without ever reaching hospitals.
Al-Qudra warned that the famine in northern Gaza had reached fatal levels, especially for children, pregnant women, and the chronically ill.
Al-Qudra said: The famine is deepening and will claim thousands of citizens if the aggression is not stopped and humanitarian and medical aid is not immediately entered.
