GAZA Feb 29. 2024 (Saba) - On Thursday, more than 20 Palestinian citizens were killed, and dozens were wounded, by the bullets of the Zionist enemy forces, west of Gaza City, north of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian News Agency said that the enemy forces opened fire machine guns towards thousands of citizens from the northern Gaza Strip, specifically from Gaza City, Jabalia and Beit Hanoun, who were waiting for the arrival of trucks loaded with humanitarian aid, on the coastal road "Harun al-Rashid" in the Sheikh Ajleen area, west of Gaza City, which led to the death of more than 20 of them and the injury of dozens.
It added that large numbers of wounded were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, noting that these numbers exceed the ability of the medical staff to deal with these cases, and a number of the bodies of the martyrs and the injured were transferred to Al-Maamadani hospitals in Gaza City, and Kamal Adwan in Jabalia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
In the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, enemy warplanes bombed entire residential blocks over the heads of their inhabitants, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded, while ambulances and civil defense vehicles were unable to reach the targeted area, due to the intensity of the shelling.
The Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to continuous Zionist aggression by land, sea and air since the seventh of October, is living in very difficult humanitarian conditions, amounting to famine.
