GENEVA February 15. 2024 (Saba) - On Thursday, the European Union criticized the Zionist enemy’s demolition of the home of activist in the field of defending Quds people, Fakhri Abu Diab, in occupied East Quds.
The Union said in a statement that such actions violate international humanitarian law and undermine efforts to promote lasting peace and security.
It urged "Israel to stop demolishing Palestinian homes, including those in this sensitive area adjacent to the Old City."
It stressed that "the priority is, and must be for everyone, to calm the extremely tense situation.
The continuation of the Israeli settlement policy, including demolitions and expansion of settlements in the occupied West Bank, including East Quds, constitutes a serious violation of international law and undermines peace efforts."
