BEIRUT February 08. 2024 (Saba) - The Lebanese Hezbollah strongly condemned the assassination of the martyr leader Hajj Wissam Muhammad Saber (Abu Baqir al-Saadi) and a group of his martyred brothers at the hands of the American occupation forces in Iraq.
In a statement today, Thursday, Hezbollah considered this crime a continuation of the crimes of previous American forces and their continued aggression against the nation’s people in Iraq, Syria and Yemen, and a blatant violation of Iraq’s sovereignty, security and stability.
The party affirmed in its statement that "the resistance movements in the region have full confidence in mujahideen of the struggling Iraqi people who insist on adhering to the path of resistance and liberation, and continuing to support the oppressed Palestinian people, and that the sinful assassination will increase their determination to continue this path."
Hezbollah concluded its statement by saying: “We express our highest condolences to our brothers in Hezbollah Brigades in Iraq and to the families of the martyrs, and we ask God to grant the dear martyrs the highest ranks, and to their honorable families patience, reward, and divine dignity.”
