LONDON January 20. 2024 (Saba) - A circulating video published by British media, today, Saturday, showed a strange collision between two British warships while they were docked in a port in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
British media reported that the British high-tech combat ship "HMS Chidding Fold" collided with the "HMS Bangor" ship, and the two ships specialize in searching for sea mines.
It quoted sources in the British Navy as saying: “We are aware of an incident involving two mine-hunting warships in the State of Bahrain.”
According to the sources, there was a large hole in the outer hull of the “Bangor” ship, in addition to internal damage, but no casualties were reported, indicating that the two ships were temporarily out of service.
British media also confirmed that a high-level investigation has been opened into the incident, which may be very expensive, especially since the costs of constructing the two warships are estimated at several million dollars.
