BAGHDAD January 08. 2024 (Saba) -The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced, in a statement yesterday, Sunday, that the American forces’ base in “Qasrak” in the Hasakah countryside, northeastern Syria, had been targeted for the second time with drones.
The Iraqi resistance also announced in a separate statement that its mujahideen targeted a Zionist enemy base in the occupied Golan with drones.
The Iraqi resistance targeted the occupied "Ain al-Assad" base in western Iraq with drones.
Earlier yesterday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted an American base in Syria, and another target in the occupied Syrian Golan in southern Syria, according to what Al-Mayadeen sources in Iraq reported.
The director of the Al-Mayadeen office in Baghdad said: The operations of the Islamic resistance in Iraq escalated after the repeated American attacks inside Iraq.
On Saturday, the Iraqi resistance targeted the American occupation bases in Al-Tanf and Al-Shaddadi, eastern Syria, with drones “in response to the Zionist enemy’s massacres against the people of Gaza,” according to the resistance statement.
The Iraqi resistance has repeatedly confirmed that it continues to target the American presence, given Washington's support for the Zionist enemy, and because of its playing a fundamental role in its continued aggression against the Gaza Strip.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq expanded its targeting in light of the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip for more than three months, as it claimed responsibility for several attacks on vital targets in southern occupied Palestine and in the occupied Syrian Golan.
