
MOSCOW December 25. 2023 (Saba) - The Russian Ministry of Defense announced the killing and wounding of up to 615 Ukrainian soldiers and the downing of 40 Ukrainian drones on various axes during the past 24 hours, as part of the ongoing war between the two sides since February of last year.
The daily report of the Russian Ministry of Defense on the course of the war stated that Russian forces repelled attacks on the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Limansk axes in eastern Ukraine, and the Zaporozhye and Kherson axes in the south of the country.
According to the ministry, Russian forces destroyed a 35D6 radar, two German-made IRIS-T anti-air target missile launchers, and a fuel warehouse.
Russian air defense forces shot down 40 drones in Lugansk, Donetsk, and Kharkiv (east), and Kherson and Zaporozhye (south), and also intercepted 5 American-made HIMARS missiles.
It is noteworthy that Russia has been waging a war with Ukraine since February 2022, with both sides claiming that the other party will inflict losses in equipment and equipment, while international mediation efforts have not succeeded in stopping it so far.
