SANA'A December 12. 2023 (Saba)-The Prime Minister of the caretaker government, Dr. Abdulaziz Saleh bin Habtour, and with him the Grand Mufti of Yemen, Allama Sharaf al-Din Shams al-Din, were briefed today,Tuesday, on the level of work and achievement in rebuilding
Al-Nahrain Mosque overlooking the old Sana’a area.
Dr. Bin Habtoor, the Grand Mufti of Yemen, along with the presidential advisor, Professor Abdulaziz Al-Tarb, the director of the Prime Minister’s Office, Taha Al-Sufyani, the head of the Al-Kabous Commercial Group, Hassan Al-Kabous, and the businessman Tawfiq Al-Khamiri, listened to an explanation of the completion rate in rebuilding the mosque and its facilities, which reached 95 percent, taking into account the peculiarity of the building prevailing in the old city of Sana'a and the surroundings of the mosque, whether in external or internal form.
Dr. Bin Habtoor praised the efforts of those working to rebuild this historic religious edifice in a way that is consistent with the nature of the authentic Yemeni historical building.
He expressed his satisfaction with the level of achievement in rebuilding the mosque compared to his previous visit to the site... praising the direct role of the Endowments Authority in rebuilding this historic religious edifice.
