TEHRAN December 07. 2023 (Saba)-Spokesman for the Iranian Space Agency (ISA), Hossein Dalirian, described sending the home-made “Salman” capsule as the first step for the Islamic Republic of Iran to send living beings into space.
Dalirian said in an interview with Al-Alam channel: As you know, we sent a biological capsule into space, which is the first step for the Islamic Republic of Iran in its road plan to send living organisms into space.
He explained: This project will continue in this way to achieve other successes in this field and reach the point of success by sending living organisms into space during the next five or eight years.
He pointed out that despite all the sanctions and pressures that are taking place: We witness that today we have been able to overcome these pressures and sanctions in the field of space, and we witness that the Iranian Space Agency is moving forward, and it is part of the top ten in the world.
