OCCUPIED AL-QUDS December 07. 2023 (Saba) - The Zionist government has approved the establishment of 1,738 settlement units to the southeast of the Occupied Quds, 'Peace Now' said late on Wednesday.
The Zionist decision describes the last corridor linking the Palestinian neighborhoods to other Quds eastern parts, the Israeli nongovernmental leftist organization added on its website.
This plan is a "huge challenge to potential building of a Palestinian civic contact in the eastern Quds, and hinders almost all the civic links between Bethlehem and eastern Quds," the group warned.
Under UN resolutions and international law, settlement in occupied lands is illegal, and is seen by many countries as stumbling block to the establishment of a Palestinian State.
