TAIZ December 06. 2023 (Saba)- A meeting of the Board of Directors of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in Taiz province, headed by the Acting Governor - Chairman of the Board of Directors, Ahmed Amin Al-Masawa, discussed the institution’s work progress and its activity in providing water and sanitation services to citizens.
The meeting, in the presence of the local secretary-general of the province, Muhammad Ahmed Al-Hajj, touched on the technical and administrative aspects of the institution and ways to enhance the level of performance, improve water services and provide them to citizens, improve revenues, reduce losses, and others.
The meeting reviewed the Corporation's performance reports and indicators during the past period, the obstacles facing its activity, and ways to develop the necessary solutions to continue the Corporation's leadership's efforts to improve water and sanitation services for citizens.
The attendees agreed to take measures to enhance the institution’s performance and qualify it technically and administratively, especially after the damage to water fields, wells and transportation networks as a result of the aggression, to work on maintaining water wells to improve water production and achieve the institution’s strategic goals.
