Minister of Defense confirms Red Sea is forbidden to ships of Zionist entity

HODEIDA December 06. 2023 (Saba) - The Minister of Defense of the caretaker government, Major General Muhammad Nasser Al-Atefi, affirmed the Republic of Yemen’s keenness to protect and secure international navigation in the Red Sea, and Yemen has the right to protect maritime navigation in its territorial waters.

The Minister of Defense said during his visit to the stationed members of the Naval Forces, Coastal Defense, and the Fifth Military District on the West Coast, “We reassure all countries of the world that the Red Sea is a safe area for navigation, international trade, and the passage of ships, except for ships belonging to the Zionist entity or that have a relationship with it.”

He explained that the Red Sea, from the Gulf of Aqaba to Bab al-Mandab, has become forbidden to the Zionist entity, and any ship of the Zionist entity in the Red Sea will be seized or attacked.

He added, "The naval forces, missile forces, and drones are ready to launch the harshest individual and collective strikes on fixed or moving targets of the Zionist entity in support of our people in Gaza. We will continue to carry out missile and drone strikes on any targets belonging to the Zionist entity until it stops its aggression against Gaza."

The Minister of Defense also affirmed that the Zionist entity is the first enemy of peace, and peace in the region depends on the demise of this usurping entity... pointing out that the Zionist enemy fell after October 7 and the map will be changed at the level of the Arab region and the world.

He pointed out that the Zionist entity is a defeated and failed entity, and its gangs were previously gathered by Western countries to occupy the Palestinian lands. He stressed that the establishment of the Palestinian state over all the geography and Palestinian lands will be soon, God Almighty willing.

He said, "With regard to the Arab countries, there are leaders and countries that have emerged in this conflict and will continue for the better, most prominent of which is the Republic of Yemen under the leadership of the master of leaders and the Islamic nation, Mr. Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi. There are leaders and countries that have fallen and will fall from history, including the normalization countries, and history will only remember them with the vilest words and the worst expressions."

Major General Al-Atefi explained that the countries of normalization have not and will not reap from this battle anything but disgrace, humiliation, disgrace, humiliation and submissiveness because they have accepted for themselves to be on the side of the Zionist entity... pointing out that this entity has become a burden on America and the Western countries and is distorting their reputation and harming their interests and is now dragging America to regional war.

He added, "We warn America against entering into this war because the opponent is strong and competitors from the countries of East and North Asia are at the doorstep. America will be the loser in this war and it must not be drawn in behind the Zionist entity."

He reiterated that the Yemeni armed forces are "fully prepared and ready, and God has enabled us to possess all weapons that target the enemy wherever he is in the Red Sea and cause their fleets to fall to the bottom of the sea."

He stated that sensitive and important targets of the Zionist entity were struck with ballistic and winged missiles and drones, and individual and collective missile strikes were launched on the Zionist enemy’s ships in the Red Sea and the “Galaxy Leader” ship was seized... stressing complete readiness to inflict the greatest defeat on the Zionist enemy.

The Minister of Defense of the caretaker government conveyed to the Almoravids the congratulations and blessings of Commander Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council - Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat.

He was accompanied during the visits by the Chief of Staff of the Naval Forces, Brigadier General Mansour Al-Saadi, the Chief of Naval Operations, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Zubair, the Head of the Logistical Support Division in the Fifth Military Region, Brigadier General Hamza Abu Talib, and the Head of the Intelligence and Reconnaissance Division in the Fifth Military Region, Brigadier General Riad Baldhi.
