MADRID November 27. 2023 (Saba) - The Spanish Prime Minister on Sunday defended his pervious remarks on the Zionist-American aggression on Gaza.
"It's not a matter of politics, but rather humanity," Pedro Sánchez said in defense of his remarks that enraged Israel.
In his Friday visit to Rafah Crossing, along with Belgian counterpart, the Spanish PM dismissed the "indiscriminate killing of innocent civilians in Gaza " as "unacceptable" act, calling for permanent ceasefire in the Strip.
The Belgian Prime Minister, Alexander De Croo, also deplored the destruction experienced by Gaza as unacceptable.
Later on Friday, the Zionist foreign minister summoned the Spanish and Belgian ambassadors to protest the PMs' statements.
Resultantly, the Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel called the Israeli envoy to Madrid for explanations to false accusations made by Zionist authorities against the Spanish and Belgian premiers.
