BEIJING November 20. 2023 (Saba) - China will work on restoration of peace in the Mideast, Foreign Minister Wang Ye said on Monday, calling on the World to move promptly to end the humanitarian crisis in Gaza Strip.
"Let's work together to mitigate the situation in Gaza urgently, and to restore peace in the Mideast as soon as possible," Chinese media quoted the Chinese FM as telling the Palestinian and four other Arab and Muslim counterparts visiting Beijing.
A humanitarian disaster is unfolding in Gaza, he warned, so the "World should take effective measures to prevent further expansion of this tragedy."
