TULKARM November 12. 2023 (Saba) - Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, has claimed responsibility for the shooting operation that took place on November 2nd near the town of Beit Lid, east of Tulkarm.
Hamas confirmed that the shooting operation killed two Zionist soldiers. It published a documentary video in contrast to the enemy’s announcement that acknowledged the death of one soldier.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, the recording showed scenes of targeting a private vehicle driven by an enemy soldier on the Tulkarm-Nablus road, and directly wounding the driver.
The Zionist enemy had announced the death of one soldier in Beit Lid operation after his vehicle was targeted with bullets and overturned next to the road, while al-Qassam Brigades mentioned in its documentation that the operation resulted in the death of two enemy soldiers.
Al-Qassam Brigades also revealed a subsequent operation in which the enemy forces were lured into an elaborate ambush and detonated an explosive device, an operation that the enemy has not revealed until now.
According to what was stated in the published documentation, the attackers of Beit Lid operation burned a vehicle near the town of Balaa, eastern Tulkarm, with the aim of luring enemy forces to the place when an enemy patrol arrived, explosive devices that had been previously placed next to the burning vehicle were detonated.
The recording showed 4-5 soldiers surrounding the burning vehicle and inspecting it, before the explosive devices exploded and their bodies were sent over long distances.
