New missile bombardment targets two American military bases
[20/ October/2023]

BAGHDAD October 20.2023 (Saba) - Two American military bases in Iraq were again subjected to missile attack on Friday, which did not result in any casualties.

Agence France-Presse quoted a security and military source as saying: Two missile attacks targeted two bases in Iraq housing American forces, without any casualties recorded.

These attacks come as Iraqi factions threaten US interests in Iraq against the backdrop of Washington's support for the Zionist enemy in its aggression against Gaza.

An Iraqi security source, who requested anonymity, said today: “Three Katyusha shells fell in the vicinity of an international coalition camp” that includes American forces near Baghdad airport, on Thursday night Friday.

An Iraqi military source confirmed the attack, noting that no casualties were recorded in the attack, while “loss assessments are still ongoing.” No party has yet claimed responsibility for this attack.

Earlier last night, the Iraqi military base of Ain al-Assad, located in western Iraq and housing American forces, was also attacked with missiles... and the "Islamic Resistance in Iraq", via Telegram channels, claimed responsibility for that attack.

Before that, the US Central Command announced on Wednesday that it had thwarted three drone attacks in Iraq that caused “minor” injuries.
