GAZA October 14.2023 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy forces warned Al-Quds Hospital, affiliated with the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Gaza, to evacuate, and gave it until four o’clock in the evening, Saturday, local time in Palestine.
The Palestinian News Agency reported that the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement that its Al-Quds Hospital provides life-saving services to a large number of sick and wounded Palestinians, including critical cases in the intensive care unit and children in incubators, in addition to hundreds of civilians who have taken refuge in the hospital. The hospital as a safe haven.
The statement added that, accordingly, the association cannot evacuate the hospital, and it is obligated to do so in accordance with its humanitarian mandate to continue providing services to the sick and wounded, at a time when tens of thousands of Palestinians also refuse to leave their homes and shelters in schools in the northern Gaza Strip, and also need health services. Provided by the association in the aforementioned hospital, and ambulance and emergency services.
The Red Crescent Society called on the international community, the United Nations system, and the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to intervene to stop and cancel the Zionist decision, and to ensure the full protection and safety of the Society’s facilities, teams and missions in accordance with international law and the Geneva Conventions.
It is noteworthy that the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that the number of Palestinian martyrs in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank had risen to 2,215 martyrs, including 724 children and 458 women, and the number of injuries reached 8,714, including 2,450 children and 1,536 women, since the start of the comprehensive Zionist aggression for the eighth day in a row. Gaza hospitals recorded the death of 315 citizens, including 90 children and 107 women, in addition to the injury of 1,788 citizens, since Saturday morning.
