OCCUPIED Al-QUDS October 12.2023 (Saba) - The head of the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Minister Moayed Shaaban, said that the settlers' terrorist militias had begun to effectively carry out their threats on Palestinian land, taking advantage of the war on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and focusing on it.
In a statement on Thursday, Shaaban added that settlers fired directly at unarmed citizens in the village of Qasra in Nablus governorate, killing four Palestinians, as well as other serious injuries.
Settlers' targeting of Palestinians had risen in the past few days to record and dangerous levels, not only at the statistical level, but in the context of the seriousness of such attacks and the real threat they entailed to Palestinian lives and property.
The Zionist enemy's government, through its large armament of these militias by handing over more than 20 thousand new weapons to settlers and providing other facilities at the level of firing powers it has granted to all those holding the weapons, has fully prepared for what has happened today in the Palestinian territory, as well as a total absence of international justice and a flawed reluctance to carry out what is necessary.
The number of attacks carried out by settlers since the beginning of 2023 had reached a record high, with 1623 attacks, causing 16 Palestinians to be martyred, a serious rise from 2022 and the previous years.
The attacks had been concentrated in areas south of Nablus Governorate, north and east of Ramallah Governorate, and south of Al-Khalil Governorate.
He stressed that this sensitive phase requires all Palestinians to stand by and join forces in the face of such attacks, not to underestimate the movements of settlers' militias and, most importantly, to confront them with all available possibilities and means.
He stressed that today's field variables impose the obligation to defend with all available possibilities and means and the deep-rooted doctrine of our existence and abilities, in front of the Mongols of the new era.
