RAMALLAH October 04. 2023 (Saba) - Today, Palestine called on the international community, the competent United Nations bodies, and the International Red Cross to assume their responsibilities to force the government of the Zionist enemy to stop attacks on detainees, curb the terrorism of the extremist Ben Gvir against them, and take the necessary practical measures to guarantee the rights of the detainees, most importantly their right to freedom.
Palestinian Wafa news agency reported that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned, in a press statement, the storming of Ben Gvir, at the head of the repressive forces, into Gilboa prison last night and his personal supervision of the operations of repression, abuse, provocation and assault on detainees, considering this an extension of the policy and positions of the ruling extreme right and the pressures it is exercising to adopt more decisions. Arbitrary and abusive treatment of heroic detainees, in a miserable Israeli attempt to undermine their steadfastness, will and determination to achieve freedom, and to withdraw their internationally recognized rights.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that it continues to follow up on what the prisoners are exposed to at all international and international levels and continues its international political, diplomatic and legal action to protect the prisoners and their rights.
