DAMASCUS October 04. 2023 (Saba) - Units of the Syrian Armed Forces have targeted terrorist headquarters and fortifications in the Idlib countryside, eliminating a number of them, and shooting down two drones in the northern Aleppo countryside.
The Syrian News Agency (SANA) quoted the Syrian Ministry of Defense in a statement last night as saying “As part of operations to repel and monitor the movements of armed terrorist groups and respond to their repeated attacks on safe villages, towns, and Syrian Arab Army points in the countryside of Hama and Idlib, .....the armed forces operating in this direction carried out concentrated attacks on terrorist headquarters, fortifications, and artillery positions.
It confirmed that this led to the destruction of those headquarters and fortifications, in addition to the destruction of a number of mortars, and the killing and wounding of a number of terrorists belonging to the terrorist organization Ansar al-Tawhid. The dead terrorists were identified as: terrorist Misbah Othman and the terrorist Mufid Bayoush.
The Ministry noted in its statement that two drones belonging to terrorist organizations were destroyed and shot down in the northern countryside of Aleppo. They were trying to target the positions of our forces in the aforementioned area.
