TOKYO October 03. 2023 (Saba) - Japanese Meteorological Administration announced on Tuesday that Typhoon Koino was approaching the Okinawa Islands in the south of the country.
Today, Japanese media quoted Japanese meteorology as saying: Hurricane “Quino” is currently being monitored in the Pacific Ocean, and is moving toward the northwest.
It is expected that it will be near the Japanese islands of Okinawa until October 5th, then head towards China.
She explained that the wind speed in the middle of the hurricane reaches about 45 meters per second, with cases rising sharply to 65 meters per second.
The Japanese authorities confirmed that “Typhoon Koino may cause landslides and increase the height of waves at sea,” calling on residents of coastal areas to be extremely cautious.
