SANA'A September 30.2023 (Saba)-Public Health and Population Minister in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil, stressed the necessity of keeping pace with the ministry’s organizational structure in accordance with the changes in reality and accepting it to develop in stages, to ensure that it accommodates work requirements and contributes to serving the citizen.
In an expanded meeting, which included the representatives of the Ministry of Health, the head of the Medical Council, heads of bodies, directors of health offices in the provinces, directors of hospitals, programs and departments of the Ministry.
Minister Al-Mutawakkil reviewed, via video conference, the organizational structure of the Ministry ,its various sectors ,the efforts made to improve performance and improve the services provided to citizens.
In the meeting, Dr. Al-Mutawakkil stressed the importance of evaluating performance during the past period and taking steps for the next stage to avoid negatives, improve institutional performance , the health sector, improve its services by taking advantage of technology and modern techniques in this aspect.
Minister Al-Mutawakkil called on hospital officials in the province to prevent any work without a profession practice certificate, stressing the importance of obtaining a profession practice certificate and determining competencies in light of the ministry’s efforts to organize work in the health sector and create qualified staff to provide medical services.
He urged everyone to feel the responsibility to adhere to professional ethics and provide health care services to citizens as a humanitarian service, stressing that professional ethics are an integral part of practicing the medical profession and all health professions.
