SANA'A September 28. 2023 (Saba) - The Minister of Public Health and Population in the caretaker government, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, praised the efforts of the medical teams in the activities celebrating the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday in the capital, Sana’a, and the provinces.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Minister Al-Mutawakel appreciated the interaction of medical personnel in hospitals and ambulance crews in celebration squares and between the governorates.
He explained that the number of medical camps allocated by the Ministry and its offices in the governorates in partnership with the private sector, during the birthday activities, was 70 medical camps, including four thousand and 929 medical, technical, paramedic and supervisory staff, and 59 government hospitals and 230 private hospitals were allocated to the municipality and the governorates, to receive and treat emergency cases.
He pointed out that 106 ambulances and 564 ambulance staff were allocated to all squares, and 177 ambulances and 385 ambulance staff were allocated on the roads leading to the squares and highways outside the cities.
