
TEHRAN September 28. 2023 (Saba) -Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's Space Forces Brig. Gen. Ali Hajizadeh has said that in the not-too-distant future, Iran will have a system of satellites in orbit, and by the end of this year, it will have two more launches.
Tasnim International News Agency quoted Hajizadeh in a statement as saying “After the successful launch of the “Noor 3” satellite, we will have two more launches until the end of the year (ending on March 20, 2024).
He added the Noor 3 satellite contains a camera and will be busy collecting signals, and in the not too distant future, we will have a system of satellites in orbit. Today, spokesman for the Iranian Space Organization Hussein Delirian announced the successful launch of the Noor 3 satellite into space.
Delirian said the “Noor 3” satellite was successfully placed in an orbit of 450 kilometers, moments ago, by the satellite’s carrier, Qasid, and by the Air Force of the Revolutionary Guard. For his part, Iranian Minister of Communications Issa Zarepour announced the successful launch of the Noor 3 imaging satellite into space.
