SANA'A September 23. 2023 (Saba)-His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, visited today, Satuarday,a number of cancer patients in the outpatient department of the National Center for Oncology.
President Al-Mashat was briefed on the nature of the treatment and health care services they receive and their needs for medicines and medical supplies.
The President listened to an explanation from the patients about their health condition and their suffering in light of the repercussions of the aggression, the siege, the difficult living conditions, and the worsening of their medical conditions.
Patients expressed their gratitude for the visit of the President Mahdi Al-Mashat to them, appreciating his efforts and support for the Cancer Control Fund and the National Center for Oncology to provide free medicines and therapeutic services to all patients.
He was accompanied during the visit by Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs - Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abu Lhoum, Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakel, Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hammoud Abbad, Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Mutahar Al-Marouni, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance, Kamal Khaled, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cancer Control Fund, Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Madani, and Director General of the National Center for oncology treatment, Dr. Abdullah Thawaba.
