Al-Mudalal: Resistance’s options in responding to settlers’ incursions into al-Aqsa open
[17/ September/2023]
GAZA September 17. 2023 (Saba) - Political Bureau of the Islamic Jihad Movement member in Palestine Ahmed al-Mudalal on Sunday stressed that the options for responding to the escalating incursions and attacks on the so-called “Jewish holidays” against the blessed al-Aqsa Mosque, worshipers, and the people of al-Quds are open, considering that al-Aqsa has been, over the past decades, an “explosion device.”

The Palestine Today news agency quoted al-Mudalal, in a statement as saying “What the Zionist enemy and the settlers are doing in al-Aqsa and al-Quds is declaring a war on the Palestinians in particular, and all Muslims, stressed that the Palestinian people will not abandon their duty in the face of Zionist aggression."

He added “The hour of glory is still present at this moment, and the response to the incursions into al-Aqsa and the surrounding towns is open, if the incursions and attacks continue at a high rate.” He blames the authority of the Zionist enemy for what it will become in the coming days as a result of the incursions.

He continued saying “These Zionist attacks cannot change the status of the mosque and its Islamic status,” indicating that the enemy wants to change the Islamic reality in the mosque within the framework of the short- and long-term policy of temporal and spatial division, to destroy it, to establish the alleged so-called “Third Temple.” .

At the conclusion of his statements, al-Mudalal called on the Arab and Islamic peoples and their governments to harness all energies and rise up to support and defend al-Aqsa.

It is worth noting that large numbers of settlers stormed Sunday the courtyards of al-Aqsa, with heavy protection from enemy forces, where they held Talmudic prayers and provocative tours, as part of the celebration of the so-called “Hebrew New Year,” amid tightening repressive measures against Jerusalemites and worshipers.

Settlers will also organize other incursions in the coming weeks, with the support and instigation of the Zionist enemy government and settlement groups, to commemorate other Jewish holidays.
