GAZA Aug. 24. 2023 (Saba) - A Palestinian fighter was killed and another was seriously injured in an explosion that occurred inside a site of the Palestinian resistance in the central Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Shehab News Agency quoted the Ministry of the Interior in a press statement as saying "A Palestinian fighter was killed and another was seriously injured in an explosion inside a site of the resistance in the central governorate, and the competent authorities are following up on the incident."
Shehab agency reported the martyrdom of the fighter, Ashraf Abdulkarim Hussein, born in 1988, while another was seriously wounded.
It stated that the martyr was transferred to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital to follow up the medical procedures, while the injured was transferred to intensive care unit.
Investigations are continuing by the competent security authorities to find out the causes of the explosion.
