PRETORIA Aug.24. 2023 (Saba) - Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived Thursday in Pretoria to participate in the 15th "BRICS" summit hosted by South Africa.
Tasnim International News Agency stated that Raisi arrived in Pretoria to participate in the 15th "BRICS" summit. He was received by the South African Minister of Trade at the airport.
On Wednesday evening, Raisi went to Johannesburg at the invitation of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, at the head of a political delegation, to participate in the "BRICS" summit.
This visit is the 18th foreign visit of the Iranian president since the formation of the current 13th government two years ago.
During the visit, Raisi is scheduled to deliver a speech at the 15th "BRICS Plus" meeting, to which leaders of 70 countries were invited, and he will also meet with a number of leaders of the countries present at this summit.
