MOSCOW Aug. 23. 2023 (Saba) - The Russian Emergencies Ministry announced on Wednesday the death of Yevgeny Prigozhin in a private plane crash that was carrying Prigozhin from Moscow to St. Petersburg, according to what was announced by the Russian Civil Aviation Authority, including nine other people were killed as well.
Russian news agencies reported that the private Embraer business jet crashed in Tver province, killing all those on board.
The statement of the press office of the Russian Civil Aviation Authority stated that Yevgeny Prigozhin was on board the crashed plane.
The statement added "The (Embraer) plane was on a flight from Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow to the city of St. Petersburg, and there were three pilots and seven passengers on board, and all of them died."
