GAZA Aug. 20. 2023 (Saba) - Head of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) abroad Khaled Mashal, has confirmed that the Zionist enemy wants to penetrate the Arab nation, dominate it, and target its security, resources and independence.
The Palestinian Shehab News Agency quoted Mashal during the 22nd al-Aqsa Festival, “al-Aqsa is but a belief,” which was held in the Jordanian province of al-Karak as saying “The nation presented bright pages in defending Palestine, and in Jordan there are martyrs of the Jordanian army in the Battle of Karama and in the wars of 48 and 67.” and they are still present.
He added "The enemy transferred the conflict to the heart of Palestine, so we all have to transfer the conflict a new shift, and write this stage with pages of light, as Salah al-Din, Qutuz and Omar Ibn al-Khattab wrote."
He explained that the current enemy government is the most extreme government in the history of the entity, as they are desperate to resolve the conflict over the West Bank, al-Quds and al-Aqsa.
Mashal also affirmed that the enemy's plan in the West Bank is not to accelerate settlement, but rather to displace its people, as the Zionists do not see a homeland for the people of Palestine, but rather see that their homeland is in Jordan as well, as the extremist minister Smotrich said in Paris a few months ago... indicating that the enemy targets the entire nation and in the heart of it is Palestine and Jordan.
He continued the enemy wants to resolve the battle over al-Quds by completing its Judaization and political and religious control over it, as well as resolving the battle over al-Aqsa, explaining that al-Aqsa Mosque today is in the heart of the danger that is almost staring at it from desecration and intrusion, along with plans to divide it or demolish it.
Mashal pointed out that the resistance in Palestine is when people think well of it, and it is a place of betting on it, so the battle of al-Aqsa is a battle of honor, religion, Arabism and destiny.
The head of the Hamas movement abroad concluded by saying the al-Quds incubator with our people in the territories occupied in 1948 AD considers the battle of al-Aqsa to be their fateful battle.
