ISLAMABAD Aug. 20. 2023 (Saba) - The Pakistani army has announced that two terrorists were killed in a security operation in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
China's official Xinhua news agency quoted the military in a statement as saying "Security forces carried out an operation in the Parra area of the province, eliminating two terrorists."
The statement indicated that violent clashes took place between Pakistani forces and terrorists during the operation.
The army said in its statement that the two killed terrorists were involved in committing terrorist crimes against the Pakistani security forces and civilians.
It is worth mentioning that the Pakistani forces continue their operations against terrorist remnants in the region.
