SANA'A July 11. 2023 (Saba)- His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, met today the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cancer Control Fund, Dr. Abdul Salam Al-Madani.
During the meeting, they reviewed the Fund's activities in alleviating the suffering of cancer patients and the difficulties they face as a result of the repercussions of the aggression and blockade.
Al-Madani indicated that cancer cases in some types of tumors increased by 200 to 300 percent due to the weapons used in the aggression against Yemen.
He stressed that the suffocating American blockade has a great impact on the Yemeni people in general, and cancer patients in particular, as many treatments for cancer tumors are prevented from reaching Sana’a, which leads to the suffering of many patients.
