RAMALLAH July 09. 2023 (Saba) - The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday condemned the attacks of settler militias and their terrorist elements against citizens in the occupied West Bank, including in al-Quds.
"The settlers' terrorist attacks on Palestinian towns, villages, and gatherings amount to war crimes for which international law is held accountable," Ma'an news agency quoted the ministry in a press statement as saying.
The ministry affirmed that the international community's complacency towards the blood of Palestinians and the theft and desecration of their land encourages the enemy state to give settler organizations and their terrorist elements more licenses to kill, vandalize, burn crops and homes, and intensify their attacks against towns.
It renewed its call to the Secretary-General of the United Nations and all countries to place settlement organizations that commit crimes against Palestinian citizens on its terrorist lists.
The Ministry also demanded a firm international stance that compels the enemy state to dismantle the settler armed militias and dry up their funding sources before it is too late.
