TEHRAN June 23. 2023 (Saba) - On Friday, Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani condemned Zionists' desecration of the Holy Koran, stressing the lack of commitment of the Zionist entity to any red line in encroaching on religious sanctities and human rights.
The Iranian agency Tasnim quoted Kanaani as saying that the brutal attack of Zionists on mosques, the desecration of the Holy Koran, the destruction of property and the daily killing of children, women and the defenceless people of Palestine were indicative of the entity's lack of commitment to any red line in infringing on religious sanctities and human rights.
Iran's foreign spokesman stressed that the silence and support of Western governments make Zionists even more brazen in this brutality.
Settlers of Zionists desecrated the Holy Koran in a new violation against Muslims and their sanctities, throwing copies of the Koran in front of the entrance to a mosque in the town of Urif, south of Nablus, as they left with a dog.
A video clip, captured by surveillance cameras, was shown settlers walking out at night accompanied by a dog, one with numerous copies of the Holy Quran in his hand, throwing them on the ground in front of the mosque's entrance, as if deliberately filmed by the camera attached to the scene.
