GAZA June 23.2023 (Saba) – The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" stressed that "the desecration of mosques by settlers' flocks and the burning of Qur'an in the West Bank is an abhorrent racist behavior that requires a clear position on the part of the official and popular components of the Islamic nation and religious institutions."
In a statement carried by Palestinian news agencies today, Friday, the movement denounced the crime of settlers' desecration of mosques, the tearing and burning of Holy Qur'an in the village of Urif, south of Nablus.
It said: What happened was a heinous crime, and a dangerous escalation of the religious war waged by Zionist institutions.
The movement held the Zionist enemy and its settlers fully responsible for the repercussions of the raging religious war on our sanctities, stressing that they will pay the price for this crime and aggression against the Palestinian people and their sanctities.
