SANA'A June 10. 2023 (Saba) - The general landscape of the political and military situation in Yemen can be described as going through a period of no peace and no war after a fragile truce ended in October 2022, while negotiations under the auspices of an Omani UN and mediation are under way to reach a new truce.
But what is known is that Saudi Arabia, which is the spearhead of the aggression against Yemen, does not have its own decision in its hands. Those who move this country and its decisions, orientations, and national, regional and international choices are the United States of America and Britain.
Saudi Arabia's own is a British-American manufacture that is itself on a lake of oil and gas wealth, an instrument of America and the United Kingdom that implements the policy of these two colonial Powers in the region.
The most accurate description of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates is that they are two intelligence agencies that the American and Zionist intelligence made them a shelter for thieves in the world and a centre for conspiracy, coups d 'état and assassinations.
To be sure, Saudi Arabia cannot break out of the American mantle and the negotiations currently under way to reach understandings on a medium or long truce in Yemen are just a waste of time, because who runs these negotiations is US envoy Tim Lenderking, with his thoughts on the conduct of the armistice negotiations based on American interests and its colonial vision of a solution in Yemen.
And the Arabs of the Gulf are nothing but deaf in a wedding ceremony, repeating like parrots what the American envoy dictates to them without awareness and understanding of the interests of their countries. This is the great misfortune that has befallen the Arab and Islamic nation, States that possess enormous oil and gas wealth but do not have an independent national decision to act and direct them towards the service of their countries and citizens.
The magnitude of the United States-British intervention in the course of the negotiations has emerged as clearly as what was their direct intervention in the war. Washington and London are blocking all efforts that could lead to peace, as reflected in Saudi Arabia's procrastination in implementing the humanitarian agenda.
But the reassuring thing is that Sana'a understood the American-British-Zionist game from early on and was fully prepared for all possibilities and alternatives and that it categorically refuses to bargain with the human file and is ready for peace and ready for war if negotiations fail.
