SANA'A June 08. 2023 AD (Saba): A workshop was held in Bani Matar district of Sana'a province to implement the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council related to local development and local authority projects in the field of water and roads.
During the workshop, Bani Matar district Yahya al-Qanous stressed the importance of the workshop in enhancing the local development process and implementing service projects.
Al-Qanous pointed out that the workshop focused on basic axes that touch the lives of the citizens directly, especially in the field of water and roads, which requires redoubling efforts and working in a team spirit, and field visits, surveys and projects.
He pointed to the necessity of activating community initiatives in various fields and paying attention to improving the general appearance, improving services, and maintaining streets in a way that ensures the achievement of development and the provision of services.
Director of the Planning Office in the district Mohammad al-Matari reviewed the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council and its activities, represented in planning for the year 1444 AH, listing projects for community initiatives in the field of water and roads, the mechanism for preparing the plan, and the field survey at the level of isolation of the Directorate.
Coordinator of the Bunyan Foundation in Sana'a Majid al-Jamali touched on the importance of mobilizing energies and integrating roles between development associations and executive offices in a way that guarantees the success and completion of development and service plans and programs at the district and sub-district levels.
Al-Jamali stressed the need to sense responsibility and work sincerely to produce honorable results that achieve the required results in the development of society and the provision of services to it, especially in light of the situation the country is living through. As a result of the aggression and blockade imposed on our country.
Bani Dhabyan district director Abdullah Al-Tahri stressed the importance of this workshop in promoting local development work and implementing projects to serve citizens.
Saafan district Director Mohammed al-Bahr discussed the outputs of the workshop implementing the President’s directives related to road and water projects and complex initiatives in the governorate.
The workshop recommended the formation of committees for the beneficiaries of the targeted projects, in coordination with the coordinators of the Bonyan Foundation, provided that the Initiatives Department completes filling out the forms for the initiative projects.
It also recommended the preparation of technical studies according to the specified models, and the submission of studies with the matrix to the governorate to sort priority projects.
Jehana district director Saleh Moaid stressed the importance of implementing the matrix according to the directives, and focusing on priorities in projects, especially in water and roads.
