SANA'A June 05. 2023 (Saba) - His Excellency Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat met on Monday with the President of the Supreme Political Council today, Head of the Road and Bridge Maintenance Fund, Engineer Nabil Al-Haifi, the President of the State Foundation for Roads and Bridges, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Hadhrami.
The meeting discussed the implementation of the Fund's and the Foundation's plans for the current year, as well as the projects to be implemented during the year 1445 A.H., especially in the field of maintenance and rehabilitation of roads and bridges.
The meeting touched upon the damage to the road and bridge network caused by the aggression's targeting and efforts to rehabilitate it.
President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of redoubling efforts in the maintenance, rehabilitation and preservation of roads and bridges, thereby contributing to alleviating citizens' suffering.
He noted that roads are the basic lifeblood for service delivery and development in various governorates and districts. Highlighting the importance of focusing on the main and priority lines in order to contribute to their sustainability.
