[05/ June/2023]

SANA'A June 05. 2023 (Saba) - At its meeting on Monday, chaired by Governor Ahmed Hamoud Juraib, the Lahj province Local Council discussed aspects related to projects and services necessary for the province's citizens.
The meeting, which included Shura Council member Jamal Sayel, province proxies Muammar al-Abdali, Hussein Abdullah Hamza, Mohamed Hazza al-Qubati and Taha Radwan, was held in response to developments in the occupied southern and eastern provinces.
The meeting touched upon the situation of the Lahj provinces and the need to provide basic services and implement development projects that meet the needs of citizens in the province and contribute to strengthening resilience in the face of aggression.
At the meeting, the Governor of Lahj stressed the importance of everyone's assuming responsibility in providing services to citizens in the province, which is the main gateway to the southern provinces and the front that has countered the projects and tools of the aggression forces.
He urged support for the people of the occupied southern provinces living under occupation, which had led to a reduction in citizens' lives and the lack of basic services for citizens over the past eight years of aggression and siege.
Governor Juraib pointed out that the conflict in the occupied southern and eastern governorates and the moves to detonate the situation must all take responsibility for strengthening the unity of class and unifying visions to confront the dangers to which the citizen will be victimized.
He stressed the need for community committees to play their role in raising awareness and mobilization to address conspiracies aimed at the security, stability and sovereignty of the province.
For their part, the attendees stressed the importance of the combined efforts of national forces in the occupied southern and eastern governorates to counter the occupier's partitioning schemes.
