OCCUPIED Al-QUDS June 03. 2023 (Saba) - Three Zionist soldiers and an Egyptian security man were killed today, Saturday, in an exchange of fire on the border between Egypt and occupied Palestine, in a rare shooting incident.
The military spokesman for the Egyptian army said that "at dawn today, Saturday, one of the security forces in charge of securing the international border line chased drug smuggling elements."
He added, "During the pursuit, the security personnel breached the insurance barrier and exchanged fire, which led to the death of three Israeli security personnel and the injury of two others, in addition to the death of the Egyptian security personnel during the exchange of fire."
The Egyptian military spokesman confirmed that all search, inspection and insurance measures for the area are being taken, as well as taking legal measures regarding the incident.
For its part, the Zionist enemy army said that three of its soldiers were killed by an Egyptian policeman today, Saturday, in gunfire on the Egyptian border, stressing the killing of the "attacker" at a later time.
The army said in a statement that "the attacker is an Egyptian policeman" and that an investigation is under way with "full cooperation" with the Egyptian army.
Earlier, the Zionist enemy army spoke in a statement about the killing of two soldiers, saying that they were "a man and a woman, who were killed by live fire near the border."
He added that two soldiers were shot dead near the border early this morning, and that the gunman and the third soldier were killed in a confrontation inside occupied Palestine hours later.
