BEIRUT May 26. 2023 (Saba) - The deputy head of the Executive Council of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Sheikh Ali Damoush, affirmed that the resistance today is stronger, more capable, stronger and more solid than ever before, and it is more determined than any day to respond to any foolishness that the enemy could commit against Lebanon even if it leads to Great and wide war.
The Lebanese National News Agency quoted Sheikh Damoush during the Friday sermon today, as saying: We are determined to defend our land, our country, our dignity, and our rights to our land and wealth. He added, "The maneuver that the resistance carried out a few days ago, the enemy must understand its message well, and not make a mistake in the calculation as it made a mistake in Gaza."
He continued, "It is the resistance alongside the army and the people that created the power equation in Lebanon.
And he stressed that this equation was the one that imposed on the Zionist enemy in May 2000, to come out defeated unconditionally, and it is what thwarted the aggression of 2006 and it is what protects Lebanon today from the ambitions, threats and Zionist aggression."
He also stressed that "some Lebanese should know the value of this resistance and stick to it instead of aiming at it and its weapons and capabilities, because it is a guarantee of Lebanon's security, strength and resilience, and it is in the interest of all and a national necessity for Lebanon to remain dear, strong, sovereign and independent, and not humiliated, afraid and submissive before the Americans and the Israeli."
Sheikh Damoush concluded his speech by saying: "We want the Lebanese to know that betting on the outside and waiting for it to find a solution does not work. The solution, achieving the presidential election and saving the country can only be with the agreement of the Lebanese, their cooperation and understanding with each other. As for stubbornness, arrogance, and the search for factional and partisan privileges, it will not lead except for more suffering for the Lebanese, wasting time and prolonging the crisis."
